The Stranger Baconsuit cover

Image created by Seattle artist Kathryn Rathke and features her husband Barry, whom she carefully draped with raw bacon to create this absurd and hilarious cover. It came shortly after 9/11, and was intended to be a Islamo-fascist repellent suit.

The Stranger is one of the premier news weeklies in the nation, where I served as design director for over 4.5 years.
